this is a lot at once to have but in packs of 9 I can store in one place and then take a pack to whichever bath needs it when it is needed and in earthquake country we won't have time to run to the store so I like to keep water and non perishable supplies on hand Get more detail about Charmin Ultra Soft Toliet Paper, 36 Big Rolls.

After reading other reviews I decided I would sacrifice resistance for softness and price, but when I got my order I realized the other reviewers must have been comparing this to their shower curtains (or whatever they use to clean themselves) because this toilet paper is just as good as any other "normal" toilet paper in the market except for the fact that you're not wiping yourself with mother nature and it's an excellent part of a conscious lifestyle. Granted it ranks lower in softness and resistance than the best most expensive supermarket brands using 100% NON recycled paper and chlorine bleach, but it's not bad at all. There is no sacrifice for me in using this brand and it's one more step towards a sustainable lifestyle. I totally recommend it.Get more detail about Green Forest Unscented Bathroom Tissue, 100% Recycled Paper, Whitened Without Chlorine, 12-Roll Packages (Case of 4).
We've been using this toilet paper for half a year. It is indeed quite quick dissolving, which means it's easy on the septic system, and we've had fewer plumbing clogs.
One caveat: One family member says that this product doesn't have as comfortable and solid a feel as the traditional Scott product we used to use.Get more detail about Scott Rapid Dissolve Bath Tissue Double Roll, 4-Count Packages (Case of 12).
These are great, and I think this is a pretty good deal on toilet paper online, for several reasons:
COMFORT
As advertised, these rolls are very soft and comfortable.
SIZE
These rolls really are HUGE compared to some other rolls, so make sure your toilet paper holder can accommodate such large rolls (ones in my place can, but ones in my parents place can't, for example). You do get more than what you pay for. Previously, for example, I bought a 12-pack of Cottonelle. A 12-pack of Cottonelles went much quicker than the 8-pack of these jumbo Charmins.
COST
Some people say it's expensive, and while this isn't dirt-cheap, it's a lot more discreet (and less awkward) than buying 40 rolls of toilet paper at your local store! :-) That being said, if you have, say a warehouse-type store around you (BJ's, [...], Sam's Club, etc), you might be able to get a better deal than these. I live in NYC and don't have a car, so that's not really an option...Get more detail about Charmin Ultra Soft Bathroom Tissue, 8 Giant Rolls (Pack of 5).
My husband thinks I am crazy for ordering TP online. We like this particular product because fingers don't poke thru it when in use. My excuse (and I'm sticking to it!) for ordering it online is because I live in a small rural area. I can't always find it unless I go to Wally World. When I compared prices, Amazon was CHEAPER!!! Never mind the local grocery stores; they're even more expensive. Fortunately I have storage available because the pkgs are bigger than the little 4 roll packs. We have a septic tank system and we haven't had any problems with the thicker/stronger paper. We're a household of two who are working during the day. After four months, we still have more than 50 rolls left (out of 96). I don't know how long other toilet paper lasted in our house, but this brand seems to last long enough and works just fine. Definitely worth it and you save trees.Get more detail about Green Forest Unscented Bathroom Tissue, 100% Recycled Paper, Whitened Without Chlorine, Case Pack, Eight 12 Roll Packs.

I've always bought Scott tissue, because with a large family it simply lasts longer than anything else I've tried. But when I ran out of toilet paper and had no way to get to the store, I ordered a 9 pack of the Charmin Ultra Soft with overnight shipping using Amazon Prime.
I have to admit, this stuff is really thick and soft. The only problem is that it costs more than Scott, and it lasts half as long.
I will go back to using Scott once these rolls are gone, but if I could afford to or had a smaller family, I would definitely use Charmin Ultra Soft.
I give the product itself 5 stars, but I have to deduct one star because of the price and the fact that is lasts half as long as my regular brand.Get more detail about Charmin Ultra Soft Bathroom Tissue 9 Big Rolls.
love this toilet paper it isn't the softest but it does not clog the pipes or septic system. I love buying it by the case because I always have tp on handGet more detail about Seventh Generation Bathroom Tissue, 1-Ply Sheets, 1000 Sheet Roll (Pack of 48) [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging].
In a civilized world there should never be 1-ply toilet paper. That's the one place you want to make sure there are plenty of ply's available.
Nowhere in the product description does it tell you this is 1-Ply, and so I made the mistake of buying two huge packages of it (the price was good), only to discover that I'm having to pull too much off the roll then fold it up to make my own 2-ply toilet paper. It's wasteful.
I am giving this product 2 stars for the following reasons:
- Poorly marketed. Should be very clear that the product is 1-ply.
- The fact that is it 1-ply in the first place, for such a sensitive body area.
- I have to waste too much of it to create my own 2-ply.
- I'm frustrated.Get more detail about Scott Bath Tissue, White, 20-Count Packages (Pack of 2).
