I recently picked these up at my local grocery store, and LOVE THEM! They are very similar to the cardboard applicator tampax tampons I used to use, but environmentally and body friendly! No need to put unnecessary chemicals into your body with great products like this. I highly reccommend making the switch! I'm very happy with these trash bags. I haven't noticed any problems with the drawstrings, but I also happen to live right next to my apartment trash bin, so maybe it's because I don't have as far to lug the trash bag. I've also read that these bags aren't as strong or as sturdy as the commercial bags, but I haven't had any trouble. Maybe Seventh Generation has better quality control now. This is a great "green" product especially for those with sensitive skin. The only improvement I would like to see (or another product) is a longer version. I purchased this product because it is scentless and windex and other chemical cleaners have strong scents that can irritate the nose, especially in areas with poor ventilation. It works okay for cleaning countertops, but it was pretty bad on mirrors in the bathroom. It left a fine film of smeary stuff. Now I've begun to wonder if my countertops are clean or if they too have the same gunk on them.
