I'm very happy I decided to try this detergent. The price is definitely reasonable. It doesn't take much to clean a load (I worried that I'd have to use a bunch) It cleans really well-my whites haven't been this white in years, and it doesn't have any heavy perfumes. It has a light lemony fragrance from the bottle, but your clothes just smell clean, like nothing when they're done. And that's ok with me. Most important to me was that I'm not pumping a bunch of junk into our septic. That always bothered me about Tide. I've regularly used Dow Scrubbing Bubbles on my shower. While it never bothered me too much, I thought that product had strong fumes and probably wasn't safe for my health. So I switched to Seventh Generation Shower Cleaner.
How shocked was I when the first time I used it I felt burning in my nose and the back of my throat. I spent the next hour coughing. And no, I DIDN'T inhale any of the mist. This product DEFINITELY has fumes and smells awful. That was a week ago.
Hoping it was a fluke (giving the product the benefit of the doubt, I hypothesized that it had released toxic chemicals that had built up in my shower), I tried the product again this evening. SAME result. That was about 45 minutes ago, and I'm still trying to clear the irritation in my nose and throat.

I bought this purely as an experiment to see if these new "green" cleaners would work and my goodness was I surprised. This is wonderful and cleans extremely well. I love this diaper. We switched to this kind after getting sick of the leaking G Diapers. I agree that these do sometimes leak at night, but I think that is more due to the smaller sizing. My son is 14 lbs and I think already too big for the size 2 diapers. They are hard to wrap around his fat little legs and are starting to rub a little where there is gap on the sides under the tab. I think this problem would be solved with a larger size. Otherwise, I find them very absorbent - just as good as other non-disposables.
