I've used this dishwashing liquid for a long time. I've also used the lemon one, but this is the one I use the most (in fact I wrote a review for the lemon scented one, but I thought I was writing about this one - that's okay, I like them both a lot).
This has a nice scent, and it does a great job with the dishes. I've used other eco-friendly dishwashing liquids that have not worked as well.
It's too bad this product got a one-star review here from someone who thought it was for the dishwasher. It isn't, it's for hand washing dishes.

After trying many "eco-friendly" products, especially dish liquids, I was becoming very disappointed. I was so chemically sensitive, I would often feel bad for the rest of the day if I spent much time in contact. The skin does absorb the chemical ingredients. I eventually figured out that the SLS or SLES(anything with lauryl or laureth or similar terms) were the ingredients that were making me spacy and fatigued. And they are right in there in many of the so-called healthy alternative detergents!
One company, Seventh Generation, uses flowery, eco-obfuscating language; they never tell you that their product actually contains sodium laureth sulfate (similar in structure to sulfuric acid), the cheapest of sudsing agents, which is found in almost all "mainstream" personal care items; dish detergent, body wash, shampoo, etc.
When I went to their website to complain, they replied that they use "a mix of functional descriptions and specific ingredients on...labels", to "allow us to refine formulas without the expense of having to reprint labels with each refinement". And just try to uncover from their website, what the actual ingredients are. I am admittedly not a computer genius (read brain fog), but it took an unreasonable amount of digging to uncover the ingredient list.
The point of my review here for Dishmate Liquid is, after I found it to be so body friendly that I could have prolonged contact without sensitivity symptoms, I decided to try it as a body wash (my skin was irritable no matter what I used to wash it). It was great! I no longer felt "bad" after taking a shower. It was only a matter of time before I tried it as a shampoo and, surprise, it doesn't hurt your eyes (as gentle as a baby shampoo), and my hair is beautiful!
I no longer buy any soaps, body washes or shampoo. I add a few drops of essential oil to diluted Ultra Dishmate as a hand and body wash. I have recommended (and gifted) this liquid to anyone I know with allergy, chemical sensitivity, or skin problems.
The best part of this is, since I have minimized contact with major sources of irritation, the entire chemical sensitivity problem has become much less prominent in my life. I don't know why some people are having difficulty with the bottle design; I think it is very easy to use.
Just like laundry detergent, some dish soaps are watered down and sold at a cheaper price. This dish soap has a high concentration of detergent, so the quality of soap is much better. In the end, it's better to go with a slightly more expensive brand of soap. That way, you're not using as much product or getting frustrated when there aren't enough suds. I wash a full load of dishes about once every two days--and it took me 3 whole months to use up 1 bottle of this stuff! And I was using it generously.
One more thing I'd like to comment on about this product--lavender has a great tendency to cover up the smell of dirty dishes, so that when you do the dishes, you don't smell the food but a fresh relaxing scent. The concentration and purity of the lavender in this product is just right. It isn't sickly sweet like some other lavender dish soaps.

The original bottle is 13 oz and bit taller than this 10.1 oz. Having said that, this new bottle is less likely to slip on the counter when you push the pump down because the base is now proportionately bigger and is more stable. It has a big top so it is easier to place your palm to pump. This foam dish washing soap works great, tough against grease.
We used to use a liquid dish washing soap, but foam is faster and more convenient. Saves time and water because you don't have to work on a lather because it is already lather when it goes out from the pump. The suds last a long time in between pumps.
What is great is that it is refillable. It also works by mixing the right amount of water and a regular liquid dishwash soap. Probably about 1/6 soap and 5/6 water. You know you put too much soap into the mixture if it is thick and if you can see the color of the soap instead of pure white foam. This saves as a lot of money on dishwashing soap.

I tried to purchase Dawn Direct Foam dishwashing foam in the 30.9 ounce size. The first shipment contained the original carton of 6 bottles packed on its side in an Amazon box. We used Cascade for years and were usually pleased with its performance, though at times it didn't get all the food off of our dishes. Since we have septic system, I decided to try these tablets. WOW. They do a much better job than our prior detergent, and are much more convenient... no pouring or detergent dust. Just drop a packet into the silverware bin and you have clean dishes a little while later. Not just clean, sparkling, with no residue or film or leftover food bits. We have an older Kenmore dishwasher which we hope to replace at some point soon, and it works like a charm with these tablets.
My only complaint is that Amazon is almost always out of these tablets. As I type this there are only "3 more left" and I'm guessing that they'll be out of stock for weeks as usual.

VIVA PAPER TOWELS aren't the paper towels they were even five years go. Kimberly-Clark has steadily degraded the quality substantially (but not the price, natch) over the last several years. These towels used to be so plush and soft, they felt like t-shirt material. The latest batch I purchased, which is noticeably different from the previous one, actually feels like sandpaper. Very fine sandpaper, but sandpaper nonetheless. Also, they used to be so strong. Now, I cannot tear one off the roll without ripping it up unless I use both hands, hold the roll, and tear very carefully.
The worst part? They've become virtually useless. I used to be able to use them to dry dishes. Now they just move the water around. They're barely absorbent.

We started using this potty when our baby was about 9 months old. We aren't really pushing potty training, but letting him figure it out on his own. He started peeing in the potty the 2nd day we used it, and now does so regularly, though we have not had success with bowel movements yet. I bought this because I didn't know if my 18-month-old daughter preferred the toilet seat attachment or to sit on the potty on the floor. This was great to try sitting on both. I don't think she decided yet which she likes best. We are slowly introducing it. The only thing I wish is it was a little smaller (it is a little too high off the ground for her since she little) and also I wish it didn't have the hump in the front for boys (she doesn't need it and it seems to get in the way of her sitting down).

This potty rocks! I was orignally ambivalent about the cartoon face but now I like it. The seat is removable and fits on an adult toilent for continuity in potty training. My son loves it. We use these Huggies Night-Time Pull-Ups for both of our sons for possible overnight wetting. We have found them to be comfortable for the boys and reliable for us. I bought this seat because my son wouldn't sit on the whole potty system we bought him. The seat was made entirely from hard plastic. He would cry, and wouldn't go to the potty. He is 22 months and just started potty training, but he didn't have any success with the hard plastic seat. But as soon as we started using the Soft Cars potty seat we had instant success. The seat is soft on little bottoms and the opening is great even for the smallest bottoms. My son is 32 1/2 inches tall and only weighs 23 pounds. These liners fit the original On the Go Potty. The liners have improved since the original. Instead of what looks like a thick feminine protection pad at the bottom, it now looks like a ultrathin feminine protection pad. That's more attractive, for sure.
My kids are now older. The 5 year old still uses the potty occasionally and the 8 year old will use the liners (he's a boy) it if it's a major emergency. My kids output too much for the pad to be of much use. When my daughter was a toddler, the pad helped. It never absorbed everything, but the less sloshing around, the better.
The original liners used to sometimes have problems leaking. The newer liners don't leak. That's why I don't just go out and use my own bags. I'm afraid the ones I use will leak. These don't, which is nice, especially if I'm using them in the minivan.
My only complaint is the liners don't fit completely around the rim of the potty easily. Wish they would make them just a little bit bigger. I have to stretch them, if I want them to go all the way around; and sometimes they tear. I usually am happy just to get them to go a little over the rim.
I'm happy these potties were invented. I still carry one in the back of my minivan just in case. I have tried using just a bag with an open diaper in it, but the kids don't like it and won't use it like that, because those potties are small. The diapers end up filling out the whole potty and the kids don't want to use a diaper.
