We used Cascade for years and were usually pleased with its performance, though at times it didn't get all the food off of our dishes. Since we have septic system, I decided to try these tablets. WOW. They do a much better job than our prior detergent, and are much more convenient... no pouring or detergent dust. Just drop a packet into the silverware bin and you have clean dishes a little while later. Not just clean, sparkling, with no residue or film or leftover food bits. We have an older Kenmore dishwasher which we hope to replace at some point soon, and it works like a charm with these tablets.
My only complaint is that Amazon is almost always out of these tablets. As I type this there are only "3 more left" and I'm guessing that they'll be out of stock for weeks as usual.
