I've regularly used Dow Scrubbing Bubbles on my shower. While it never bothered me too much, I thought that product had strong fumes and probably wasn't safe for my health. So I switched to Seventh Generation Shower Cleaner.
How shocked was I when the first time I used it I felt burning in my nose and the back of my throat. I spent the next hour coughing. And no, I DIDN'T inhale any of the mist. This product DEFINITELY has fumes and smells awful. That was a week ago.
Hoping it was a fluke (giving the product the benefit of the doubt, I hypothesized that it had released toxic chemicals that had built up in my shower), I tried the product again this evening. SAME result. That was about 45 minutes ago, and I'm still trying to clear the irritation in my nose and throat.

I bought this purely as an experiment to see if these new "green" cleaners would work and my goodness was I surprised. This is wonderful and cleans extremely well. I used it on my outdoor furniture and didn't even have to scrub. I just sprayed it on and washed it off and the dirt all came with it. It is wonderful. I was so very suprised to see that it is now unavailable in the 12 pack. Such a good product! I really love this cleaner - I thought I would need to use more and scrub harder because it's eco-friendly (ergo, not as strong, right?) but it's just as tough as anything else I ever used, and it doesn't have a chemical smell to burn my nose and throat. Even better, when my two cats and one dog lick whatever I was cleaning afterwards, I don't have to worry that I'm going to have to rush them to the vet for poisoning, unlike the stuff I was using before. I love Seventh Generation and I haven't met a product of theirs that I didn't like.

I try to use seventh generation or other natural/organic products whenever I can afford it. I found this detergent to be a good deal so I bought it, even though I never wash anything on delicate. These are really poorly made bags. They are ultra thin, which means you have to double them up if you don't want a rip. They don't tie well because they are so thin, they rip when you try to cinch them. I bought a case and now wonder what I am going to do with all of these bad bags. The bottles were double boxed: packed tightly in a case with that in an Amazon box with packing material. All bottles sealed and without leakage. This stuff smells good and does a great job on my entire bathroom. I was especially impressed with how it eliminated soap scum, mold, mildew and that slimy pink stuff from my tub and shower walls with very little effort on my part. I only have to spray, wait a few minutes and wipe, and it gets my shower squeaky clean. I don't have to scrub or anything! It works better than anything else I've tried and I used to clean houses! I actually got it because I was worried about my family's exposure to the chemicals in cleaners. I wasn't expecting a natural cleaner to work very well but what a pleasant surprise!
