These napkins remind me of old Taco Bell napkins. They are brown and a little stiff. I don't look for much in a napkin so the color doesn't matter much to me. But since they are a little stiff I wouldn't recommend cleaning a large wet spill with them. While they are effective they don't absorb that fast. But if you care enough to be interested in more environmentally sound products try these, I feel good knowing the are 80% post consumer recycled and for my family it is worth the color and texture. Buy Seventh Generation, Natural Lunch Napkin 1-ply 500 count!
I bought this product because I'm trying to become more green. I didn't expect it to be as thick as it is, so when my son uses it (and too much) it doesn't flush well, and I end up using the plunger. It isn't very soft either, so doesn't always feel pleseant when wiping. After the case I bought is gone, I'm going to look for a softer, more flushable "green" toliet tissue. I have an old house, and old pipes, and this paper just doesn't go down very good unless it has sat there for a while. I don't recommend if you have an old house/pipes. I keep soft tissue on hand for when I have guests or need a break from this particular kind. If you don't care about softness or clogged toilets, by all means this is the product for you! Buy Seventh Generation Recycled Bath Tissue - 2 ply (48 rolls)!
I did not notice when ordering that these are NOT drawstring bags, which I prefer. Totally my fault, otherwise the bags are great, exactly like regular trash bags.Buy Seventh Generation Recycled Trash Bags 13 Gallon (3 Boxes)!
I have three kids and it's taken care of all the stains they've created as well as anything else I've tried. I'm very pleased with how well it cleans and rinses out. I've noticed a difference in the suds this detergent makes... they definately wash off easier. Overall a great product. Worked well as long as the the dishwasher is saturated with overly dirty dishesBuy Seventh Generation, Lemon Scent Auto Dish Gel 45 Ounces!
This is one of the best all-purpose cleaners I've used. I've done both commercial and residential cleaning the last 35 years. Hydrogen peroxide as the first ingredient suggests it has good disinfectant powers. On the other hand, unlike other hydrogen peroxide products I've used, advertised as safe and non-toxic, it does not produce a headache. Smells good, cleans fine, well worth a try.
What Seventh Generation needs to do is sell a $10.00 quart bottle of concentrate, which could be used to mix many refills of your original $4.00 spray bottle. We spend about $20 every 5 years on cleaning chemicals in my home, because we're using concentrates only. Pre-mixed grocery store cleaners in spray bottles are a total ripoff.Buy Seventh Generation Kitchen Cleaner, Wild Orange & Cedar Spice, 32-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 8)!
Wife loves these. Way more comfy than the sandpaper weave on Always brand and way more absorbent than Natracare brandBuy Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Maxi Pads, Regular, 24-Count Packages (Pack of 12)!
Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Maxi Pads work very well and are non toxic. I feel good about using a pad that won't harm my health. I highly recommend them!Buy Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Maxi Pads, Overnight, 14-Count (Pack of 12)!
It's incredible to me why any woman would want to buy the standard store tampons with all the chemicals added to them. Why use other products with their bleach whitened chlorine when this is a perfectly natural eco-friendly alternative? My wife uses these and she swears by them.
Seventh Generation is a very good company and they offer three absorbency sizes. There are a lot of tampons in the box (240) but you will not have to buy them again for a while or just split a box with a friend.Buy Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Tampons, Regular, 20-Count Packages (Pack of 12)!
I couldn't ask for more from this product. It smells great, cleans so well, and is from a responsible company. It is really great! Thank you, Seventh Generation! I love these diapers and they have never failed us. My baby boy, who is now 14 months old, has had several types of diapers. First we tried the commercial brand, Huggies, and then we switched to these, after I got a bit more environmentally conscious. We also tried G-diapers, a mix between cloth diapers and disposable and though I did like them, too, and used both them (at home) and Seventh Generation (as soon as we were out and about), the G-diapers didn't seem as safe and never worked night time. I still have a case or so left, but now we only use Seventh Generation. Whenever I see babies wearing Huggies etc. I think they look so bad, first chlorine bleached and then with those Disney and/or Sesame Street characters. I so prefer these in looks, too. Highly, highly recommended. And we get them on the automatic order from Amazon.com. and save by doing so.Buy Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Diapers, Stage 2 (12-18 Lbs), 48-Count Packages (Pack of 4) (192 Diapers)!
This is the first time I've used 7th Generation products, but decided to give this a try as the price was right and I was looking for a fabric softener with no perfumes. I was surprised that the eco-friendly formula does such a great job of eliminating static and leaving clothes soft with no perfume odor. We have used these every since our little guy was born 2.5 years ago, and have been very happy. It's great to see a company like Seventh Generation putting out quality products, at competitive prices, that are good for the environment, to boot.
I have always felt these wipes were plenty moist, and have never deteceted an odor. Unlike most of the mainstream brands, which are heavily perfumed, these are odorless. And our boy has never had any negative reactions to them.
The plastic dispenser box has worked fine (we had one of them for about 18 months!), and the refills are good, too -- the recloseable flap works quite well.
Give these a try, and I don't think you will be disappointed. You'll be using a pleasant, chemical-free product on your precious child, and supporting a progressive, socially beneficial company in the meantime!
