I'm very happy with these trash bags. I haven't noticed any problems with the drawstrings, but I also happen to live right next to my apartment trash bin, so maybe it's because I don't have as far to lug the trash bag. I've also read that these bags aren't as strong or as sturdy as the commercial bags, but I haven't had any trouble. Maybe Seventh Generation has better quality control now.
